What N134 means

For treatment billed once but delivered over months, some payers spread the benefit across installments. N134 explains that the amount on this remittance is one such installment, not the full benefit and not a partial denial.

The official remark includes a request: if the patient has stopped treatment, contact the payer, since further payments would not be owed.
