About ClaimsRevenue

I built ClaimsRevenue to solve a real denial problem.

ClaimsRevenue was founded by Sami Quazi after lessons learned from reducing medical insurance claim denials at MoodRx helped inspire a better way for independent healthcare practices to prevent revenue loss.

Founder story

From frustrating denials to a smarter, simpler solution.

Before ClaimsRevenue, Sami was a senior executive at some of the largest organizations in American healthcare: Fortune 10 companies CVS Health and UnitedHealth Group/Optum, and Change Healthcare, then a Blackstone portfolio company. Sami also worked with McKesson on a divestiture. That experience across the healthcare industry gave Sami a deep understanding of how claims and payments move through the system.

Sami also co-founded MoodRx and served as its Chief Operating Officer, alongside CEO Kruti Quazi, a practicing therapist. Running an independent practice day to day, Sami saw firsthand how costly and distracting insurance denials could be. Even with strong clinical care, denials created cash-flow delays, rework, and administrative burden.

Sami dug into ERA files, claim behavior, and payer patterns to understand what was really driving denials. That work helped MoodRx reduce its denial rate from over 10% to less than 0.5%.

That success became the proof point for ClaimsRevenue, a platform Sami founded to help other independent practices prevent denials, improve claim quality, and protect earned revenue.

The best denial is the one that never happens.

Life outside the practice

Built between practice life, Disney walks, and real-world problem solving.

After a busy day, Sami loves walking at Disney World to get in 10,000 steps. Many early ideas for ClaimsRevenue were refined during those walks: thinking through practice problems, spotting patterns, and imagining a better solution for independent providers.
